One of the most fun weeks of the school year is Spirit Week. It is a time when you could dress ridiculous and no one cares.
The themes for Spirit Week are Safari Day, Western Day, Wacky Tacky Day and Superhero Day and our classic Black and Orange Friday.
"I love Spirit Week because it gives you a chance to show your personality," sophomore Taylor Marshall explained.
Who are the geniuses behind the spirit days? Leadership. One of the Leadership committees is in charge of Spirit Week. They converse, vote, and manage to come up with a theme for each day. Plus, to make the occasion more interesting, every day at lunch certain activities are held for students.
From running races, to pinning the tail on the Mustang, all the different activities keep the students amused.
"It's very entertaining to see all the weird things people do to show their spirit," said Tatiana Bell when asked about why she likes watching people participate during lunch activities.
Spirit Week is the perfect series of events to get people excited for the Homecoming finales on Friday and Saturday.
