Boys Soccer
Last week Mustangs Varsity won their last league game against Bear River, with the score being 2-0. The two goals came from senior David Sanders, and junior Fernando Segura. Junior David Pyavka made three saves, contributing to the shut out against Bear River. With this win the Mustangs move to the playoffs, their first game being at home against the Natomas Night Hawks.
Cross Country
Cross Country had their final league meet, which was Championships at Twelve Bridges, Lincoln. With the Sub-Sections this Saturday at Angels Camp, the Mustang runners hope to move on to Sections.
Football
Football lost lasts weeks game against Bear River, with the end score being 49-34. David Sanders threw for 171yds during the game. Leading the receivers was senior Kelly Bender, with 138yds for the game. Rushing was split between 6 different back, senior Ericson Reyes had the high at 109yds for the game, with the combined rushing yards being 319yds. The total yardage for the Mustangs offense was actually greater than Bear Rivers, but with 5 fumbles, and an interception going against the Mustangs, Bear River won the game.
This Friday is Senior Night for the Mustangs, and they host Placer in the final game of their season.
Volleyball
Monday was Senior Night for our Lady Mustangs, with them winning at home against Lincoln. They won the game losing only one set, with three going in their favor. Today they play at Placer in the final game of the season.
